Cove Park Community Open Day
                  2-6pm, Saturday 17 September 2016                  

Take a look inside the new Artist Centre, the Jacob's Building, meet resident artists and get creative with a taste of our 'Hands-On' programme at the Cove Park Community Open Day.

Join a guided tour starting at the Artist Centre at 2:30pm or 3:30pm to visit the studios, or explore the site at your leisure.

The resident writers, artists and craftspeople offer a warm welcome into their studios where you can find out what they have been working on this summer.

During the afternoon there will be drop-in creative workshops for children and young people, a taster of our forthcoming Hands-On Cove Park programme of creative workshops, events and talks for people in Argyll & Bute led by our current and former resident artists.

To end the day (hopefully bathed in sunlight on the decking!), there is a BBQ from 5-6pm. 

 For your own comfort when visiting the site please note:

• there is ramped access to the Artist Centre from the car park and level access throughout the building
• sturdy footwear or wellies are recommended, especially if it rains!
• please don’t bring dogs, except Guide Dogs, as we have highland cows and grazing sheep,
• children must be supervised at all times
